Ratan Tata passed away, it feels like a personal loss.
He is a role model. The firm, Tata Group is a role model.
He had less than 1% of shares of Tata Group. But still, he was synonymous with the firm.

In the last term, I used the book “Tata Log” to introduce Indian business to Japanese students. They were not aware of Indian firms.
Tata Group is a role model in introducing Indian firms to outsiders.
And yes, students too, appreciated it a lot. And Ratan Tata reflected in their presentations.
I have lined up a few of the books on the Tata group to read and one of them is on Ratan Tata.
I have become a skeptic of organizations in the growth of Individual persona.
But looking at Ratan Tata, it feels like the right organization can give you all the nourishment and environment to self-actualize.
“Ratan” sounds like a name given with epiphany that he will be like a “Ratan” by the time he waves the world with “Tata”.
